Enjoy viewing my favorite art pieces

Oh, I’m Sorry (2022)

This is one of Roy Lichtenstein pieces that I did in painting to honor him. The main Purpose in doing this is because Roy is one of my inspirations that drove me to being an artist. This piece directs viewers to an ideal world that is cartoony and imaginative. When we thank of things imaginative, it leads to creativity.

Personal Space (2024)

This is a mix media piece that I did in my first semester as a senior. I didn’t really care for the class, but there was some good that came out of it. This piece shows viewers how important an individual’s room is. I will describe my room to be very private.

Abstracted Clues (2024)

This is another piece that I made in mix media. This piece gives purpose by describing the inside of my house. My house is always organized and fresh. This piece also got accepted in one of the shows too.

The Great Fall (2020)

This piece is described as a steel life. During my sophomore year, I was still learning the process of composition, value, and line marking. I began to adapt to the process and I gotten better at it. This particular piece would be a tone instead of a vine.

Outside Objects (2020)

This is a another one of my best tones that I did in drawing. This is when I finally got the hand in doing it. More importantly, I was fully aware of understanding the meanings behind composition, value, and line marking.

Class Photo (2023)

This piece was made outside of class. The medium in this are pencil and coloring pencil. This is more of my own art style that was created using my imagination and creativity. It shows that I love watching anime , cartoons. This also can be a way of dedication towards American comics and Japanese manga. So I decided to create my own version of characters to pay respect to all the artists that create American comics and Japanese Manga.

It Watches in Winter (2021)

This is another one of my pieces that was done outside of class. The idea was to challenge myself in doing realistic art out of pencil and coloring pencil. This is the closest to realistic that I will get since I’m not really good in making realistic drawings. Also this gives the idea nature.

Sniffle’s Cereal (2023)

This is one of my favorite pieces that I love. This piece was done digitally. The only part that was sketch was the dog, everything else was done from scratch on the computer. This piece aims towards children. The purpose of me making this piece was to show what I enjoy eating during my childhood.

Unity (2024)

This is another piece that I did out of class. This piece was meant to call to action. I was thinking about how division is affecting our country from each individual’s judgement towards others. I simply drew four kids that represent their race group such as Black, White, Asian, and latino. Us as people focus more on judging others by appearance rather than the heart. This piece is done by pencil and color pencil.

Printing Press Alphabets (2024)

This is a piece that I recreated from one of my assignments in graphic design. We were given an important task to design the alphabets in different art styles. Even though this was simple to do, I wasn’t use to the adobe toolbar.

Horror Movie Poster (2024)

This is my horror movie poster. This is another assignment that I recreated. At this time, We were assign to make our own costume movie poster in photoshop. Photoshop has its own toolbar that works different than Illustrator. Since I adapt more to illustrator than photoshop, I redesign this piece in illustrator. Illustrator allows more freedom for me to do anything I want.

Skyhawk Cartoon, “Bombs Away!!!(2024)

This piece was simply done outside of class. I was allowing myself to adapt even further to Adobe Illustrator. This was a sketch for the Homecoming Banner choice. Since it didn’t get picked, I did something unique by designing it in illustrator. It turned out pretty good if you ask me. this is simply my own imagination and creativity coming to life as an image on screen. As a designer, my vision can be quite funny, entertaining, and somewhat insane.

Skyhawk Cartoon, “League of Striving Artists” (2024)

This is the second piece that I did outside of class. I was just enjoying making things in Illustrator at this point in my college career. Again, this is another cartoon image that was created from my imagination and creativity. This allows viewers to understand what my vision truly looks like.

Skyhawk Cartoon, Book Arts (2024)

This piece was made outside of class too. I designed this piece because its was part of a project called, “Book Arts”. We were task to design images for stickers to go on the library bus for kids. I was one the ones who chose to help with character design. We had to come up with a design that involves Captain Skyhawk and a cat in full library mode. This took me two and half weeks finish. I had a lot of fun making this design. Its one of my favorites.

Customized Menu Design (2024)

This assignment was one of the ones that I did in Graphic Design. I did horrible the first time because I wasn’t familiar with the adobe toolbar. When I create this one, I was fully aware on how the toolbar works. It was easier doing it this time because I have fully adapted to the controls. Adapting wasn’t the only thing that made this piece successful, it was the sketches that I made. I choose to do a font that flows well with my theme because I wanted it to look professional.

Children’s Book Design, “Firearm Safety for Children” (2024)

This project was for my sociology class. We was talking about important problems that are seen everyday in our society. This children’s book explains how guns can be effective in the lives of children when they experience a tragedy. This book gives key points. It even has great illustrations that follow the dialogue. This book took me three weeks and a half to finish. This was done from great sketches. What makes this so unique is that I use time management. Since I grew up reading books for children, I wanted mine to look just as good as if it were to be published. To be honest, I did a great job on this. Hard work pays off.

Photography Photo Collection of (2023)

Photography was one of my favorite classes that I took in my college career. Photography helped me explore places around martin that I never seen before. From my point of view, taking this class allowed me to see the world differently than normal. From the variety of photos that I have taken, it allowed me to see life more clearly. It’s all about the angel, lighting, colors, and creativity. Later in the semester, I was introduce to known photographers that do this for an honest living. I learned a lot from them on their purpose in becoming photographers. They even took the time to share the variety of photos that they took in different places around the world. To me, what makes photography so unique is that each photo has a purpose behind them. Taking a photo at the right place and time is what makes the perfect photo.

Being Funny with my Imagination

Artists That Inspires Me

These three artists are my inspirations that I look up to. Walt Disney, Stan Lee, and Roy Lichtenstein were well known geniuses in the art world. I even have some Japanese artist that I love as well. They all use creativity to create an imaginary image that came to mind. I can compare myself to these three because I have the same talent. I too use imagination and creativity to create an image that I vision from the mind. Besides the three artist below, I grew up watching and reading drawings that have dialogue. I always enjoy the movement and voices of each character that has made his or her debut on screen. I always thought it was crazy cool to see art come to life on screen from someone’s imagination. I want to do that with my talent too. That’s my true purpose as an artists.

Walt Disney

Stan Lee

Roy Lichtenstein

Masashi Kishimoto, Akira Toriyama, and Eiichiro Oda

Thank You Everyone!
